About Sallie

In 2020, the pandemic lockdown served as a catalyst for fundamental change. I ended my 30-year career as a holistic esthetician and embarked on a 5-year explorative journey beginning with enrolling in an online spiritual mentor training/certificate program through Atlantic University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I continued my studies by becoming a spiritual life coach through Life Purpose Institute in San Diego, California. However, I felt there was something missing. I furthered my studies by enrolling in a creative art online coaching certification program from Flow Coaching Institute in Toronto, Canada. This program connected me to the fundamental healing power of artistic expression!

In 2023, I focused on my own healing path. I relocated to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from Boston, Massachusetts. It was my intention to break well grooved patterns in my life that no longer served me, which brought me face to face with the shadow aspects of myself and exposed my latent talents During this process, I delved into art making and deepened my faith in God. The relationship with the divine and creating art became my lifeline.

Fast forward to 2025-2026, I moved back to New England with a renewed perspective. Because of my long-term career as an esthetician, I took an interest in portrait drawing. I set out to become a “serious portrait artist” but God had a different plan! I became passionate about sketching, utilizing techniques such as drawing with one, continuous line without lifting my pencil, and sometimes not even looking down at the paper! This allowed my imagination to run free! The zany characters that appeared in the lines made me LOL and inspired me to create wacky greeting cards designed to lift your spirits and make you laugh!
