Like many folks, 2020 and the Covid era marked a significant turning point in my life. I retired from my 30-year career as an esthetician and embarked on a path to become a spiritual mentor and creative arts coach. After completing my certificate programs in 2023, I moved from Boston, MA. To Myrtle Beach, SC. with a new direction.
My intention to relocate was to break old patterns that no longer served my personal growth and to develop a professional coaching practice. As life will have it, God had a different plan. The southern environment was completely foreign and everything familiar was removed from my life. Close relationships ended and I found myself in a place alone, just me and God. This transitional phase deepened my faith and connected me to my creative nature, which inspired the “Faith Series” collection.
In the spring of 2025, I returned home to New England. I wanted to expand my skillset as an artist and enrolled in a portrait drawing class. Oddly enough, I fell in love with an exercise creating images working with one, continuous line. This authentic process allowed the figure on paper to come to life, telling me who the character was, and what they were about. I found the characters so entertaining, I was motivated to share them with others by creating a greeting card line. As a self-taught artist, I always loved creating, but never in my wildest dreams would I have considered it as a career path.
I have incorporated all my previous art in my card collection as well as my current, one line art creations. My artwork encompasses various styles and several mediums, including ink, pencil, colored pencil, acrylics, and working with Procreate on my IPad. As you can see by browsing the website, I have a wide variety of eclectic art that has been created over time and is categorized by theme. Some of the cards are intended to make you laugh out loud, while others are of a reflective nature, and more thought provoking. Every card I create is original; I never use AI in any of my art!
It is my hope that you obtain as much pleasure in purchasing my greeting cards and sharing them with friends, loved ones, and coworkers, etc. as it is for me to create them.
